American Civil War Soldiers 5XX

The typical soldier in both armies was a young farmer in his 20s. More than 600,000 soldiers died in the war – more from disease and exposure than of wounds received during battle. These Confederate grey and Union blue soldiers add realism to any historical recreation of American Civil War battles.
